Billboard is reporting that Ke$ha will top the Hot 100 tomorrow with her new single "We R Who We R." In the same article, they mention that this year she became the 11th female pop artist to score at least four top 10 hits from a debut album. They don't list them, but mention Cyndi Lauper was the first. I can come up with 10...who am I missing?
1. Cyndi Lauper (She's So Unusual: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Time After Time, She Bop, All Through the Night)
2. Whitney Houston (Whitney Houston: You Give Good Love, Saving All My Love for You, How Will I Know, The Greatest Love of All)
3. Debbie Gibson (Out of the Blue: Only in My Dreams, Shake Your Love, Out of the Blue, Foolish Beat)
4. Paula Abdul (Forever Your Girl: Straight Up, Forever Your Girl, Cold Hearted, The Way that You Love Me, Opposites Attract)
5. Mariah Carey (Mariah Carey: Vision of Love, Love Takes Time, Someday, I Don't Wanna Cry)
6. Christina Aguilera (Christina Aguilera: Genie in a Bottle, What a Girl Wants, I Turn to You, Come On Over Baby)
7. Beyonce (Dangerously in Love: Crazy in Love, Baby Boy, Me Myself and I, Naughty Girl)
8. Fergie (The Dutchess: London Bridge, Fergalicious, Glamorous, Big Girls Don't Cry, Clumsy)
9. Lady Gaga (The Fame: Just Dance, Poker Face, Lovegame, Paparazzi)
10. Ke$ha (Animal: Tik Tok, Blah Blah Blah, Your Love Is My Drug, Take It Off)

well done Ke$ha but YAY debbie gibson :P
I was almost ready to say Janet Jackson, but then I remembered that "Control" was actually her third album.
Paul - I knew you'd be happy to see Debbie there (I am too).
John - I actually had her on the list until I had the same realization.
I still haven't figured it out...not Tiffany, Celine Dion, Monica, Alanis Morissette, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Pink, Kelly Clarkson. Hmmm....
Figured it out! It's Taylor Dayne. [Tell It to My Heart: Tell It to My heart (#7), Prove Your Love (#7), I'll Always Love You (#3), and Don't Rush Me (#2)]
