I bet "Unwritten" and "Gotta Get Thru This" rank so highly because both songs were released at different times in the U.S. and the U.K., and you subsequently charted each song twice, allowing them to rack up more points on your personal chart than they might have otherwise.

Either that or you just have a thing for the Bedingfields. (Which is understandable in Daniel's case.)

You are absolutely right. I used to pretty much always "re-chart" songs if they were released at different times in both countries, particularly if they came out in the UK first. I do that less so now--only if they become a bigger hit in the subsequent country. For example, I re-charted "Paparazzi," since it was released in the fall in the US and was a bigger hit than it had been in the UK during the summer.
