Green Day "Know Your Enemy"
"Know Your Enemy" was added to iTunes later in the week, perhaps today, as I didn't see it up yesterday. It seems pretty great and a very typically Green Day song. I like it! Here's a radio version from YouTube:
I really don't like this song. It sounds like a watered down American Idiot, and that's really bad for the band. American Idiot was acclaimed, incredibly successful, and influential. You can't follow an album like that up with the same thing (which this basically is). I was hoping that Butch Vig would help change things up again, but I guess not.

Great track, but I shouldn't be surprised. Green Day is probably the most consistently great band in the business, and they're good guys, too.
I hope this album is really good. My expectations are elevated.
