Daughtry - Home
The Killers - Read My Mind
Los Lonely Boys - Whatever Gets You Through the Night
Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder
U2 - Window in the Skies
I didn't do well in predicting this category last year, which included a mix of R&B (Black Eyed Peas), Pop (Pussycat Dolls), Rock (The Fray, Keane), and Indie (Death Cab for Cutie). I've mostly picked rock, which I believe was my mistake last year, but what pop group sounds besides Maroon 5 or Daughtry, is worthy? Gym Class Heroes? I hope not. And with Fergie going solo, there's nothing from Black Eyed Peas. The Killers could be this year's "indie" pick, unless they go for Peter Bjorn & John's "Young Folks" or Fall Out Boy (either "This Ain't a Scene" or "Thnks fr th Mmrs"). Los Lonely Boys have been nominated in this category twice before, establishing themselves as a favorite. I'm hopeful we won't see Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah," but it may not be ignorable. Still, U2 is a Grammy legend, so why not include them instead?

I can only hope you're right about the Garza brothers (aka Los Lonely Boys) getting a nomination again this year! IMHO, they deserve to win a Grammy in just about any category.
