Mariah Carey's new single "Obsessed" hit radio last week. What do you think? Frankly, I'm not really that into it, but maybe it will grow on me. Hopefully her upcoming album will have better songs. In the meantime, check out J. Mensah's fantastic Mariah Carey discography rundown.

It's taken me a good couple days to actually sum up what I personally think of the song (mixed opinions--including yours--everywhere) It's not bad; it's probably just a grower (It grown on me over the last couple days) I don't care for it in terms of her auto-tuned vocal or the typical "Tricky" and "Dream" production--but the lyrics are brilliant and make me laugh ("You're a mom and pop, I'm a corporation, I'm the press conference, you a conversation"). I only hope it's about Eminem.
Tonight, I've been listening to my mix of Mariah's greatest hits (currently on "Always Be My Baby") and it's safe to say that "Obsessed" comes nowhere close to her greatest. My poor partner is sitting here suffering while I'm loving "Vision of Love," "Emotions," "Dreamlover," etc.
