Green Day Tomorrow
Just a reminder that Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown is out tomorrow (easy to forget, since it's not a Monday/Tuesday release).
Update: Okay, I need to learn to read a calendar--this is out Friday (not today).

I'm surprised by how little attention this is getting from mainstream media, and the strangely mixed reactions about this. The reviews i've read are very "meh", which is strange to me because I thought a project of this scope would be a very "love it or hate it" deal.
I'm still not sold, personally, so I may give it a listen, though not first day.
By the way, have you heard the leak? I'm interested to find out your opinion on this.
Yeah, though from online communities i've heard mixed things. I tend to side with critics sometimes, so we'll see what happens with this one.
Also, yay for Grizzly Bear. I'm actually listening to Veckatimest right now, i'm gonna have to preorder it. Takes a while to get into, but very good after a few spins. By the way, what track did you try out?

I've read several very positive reviews, including Rolling Stone and NME. Entertainment Weekly was positive too (a B). I haven't heard much of it yet.
By the way, I bought a track from Grizzly Bear this week and I'm enjoying it. I'll be checking out more.

"Two Weeks," which I think was a single. I just checked, and I see Spin and Q both gave this a good review. Sounds good.
Two Weeks, neat. Fantastic song. Though the rest of the album is more introspective.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see what the reaction is from the mainstream once this comes out.
