Westlife "Talk Me Down"
I wasn't taken in by Westlife's last single, a remake of Daughtry's "What About Now." But, I am totally into their gorgeous new single "Take Me Down." What a massive song.
it's such a gorgeous song - great steve anderson production, but not one that i would've initially picked as a single because it's so solo mark. However, it is just so lovely it deserves it's time in the sun (as does Shadows...)
Hmmm ... far be it from me to dis a boyband, but I'm afraid I'm just not seeing the appeal. It's a perfectly decent song, mind you, but it's just nothing special to my ears. I guess my post from awhile back was true ... I've just totally fallen out of love with Westlife, as much as I hate to say it.
Paul - Mark sounds great on this single. Good for him! I haven't heard "Shadows" yet, but I'll check it out.
Tom - I was really into Westlife at first, but after the Unbreakable greatest hits set, I haven't bought any of their albums. I've liked a few of their singles since then, but this one I feel like is really special. It's a gorgeous, big piano melody--the kind of thing that Guy Chambers excels at writing. I tend to really like those songs.
