The High School Musical 2 soundtrack will impact Billboard charts tomorrow. The album will surely top the Billboard 200 albums chart, likely with the biggest first-week sales of the year, but how many of the film's songs will make the Billboard Hot 100?
In February 2006 when the first movie's soundtrack bowed, nine of the songs made the Billboard Hot 100, including five in the top 40, led by the #4 placing of Troy and Gabriella's "Breaking Free." Top 10 nods seem possible for the big Zac and Vanessa duets this time around: "You Are the Music in Me" and "Gotta Go On My Own Way." I also personally like "What Time Is It?," but its iTunes sales aren't as strong.

I always love finding new music sites. I found your through ad hoc's site. (Ad hoc. doesn't seem to like me much, but I love the humor and the taste in music.)
Glad to see you're another resource available. Feel free to check out my spot if your like tongue-in-cheek comedy humor along the lines of the Onion/the Daily Show.
Once again, great coming across your blog.
