I don't know. "The Edge of Glory" felt great to me when it debuted, but it eventually grew away from me with an awkward retro/90's sound. It got back on my personal playlist more after Clarence Clemons passed away, but it still doesn't hold the magic it originally held with me.
By the way, this is Lady Gaga's 10th #1 hit on my personal chart, making her only the fourth artist to have at least 10 #1s (after Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Mariah Carey).
I guess you could say that, but I've always considered Katy Perry to be the star of the song. As a matter fo fact, the version without Kanye is better, in my opinion, and that's the one I have #1 overall on my "Songs of the Year" so far.

Edge of Glory finally getting the debut it deserves on my chart this week :) It just gets better!

Off topic, but do you have the new take that ep as a separate album on your iPod or tagged on the end of Progress?
Paul - Yay! I agree. When it first came out, I thought it wasn't an equal to "Born This Way" or "Judas," but it grew on me, and now I like it a lot.
Mobius - I think I like the '90s sound, and more and more we're going to hear '90s stuff come into vogue now (see this week's #1 UK hit, for example).
J.Mensah - Separate. If you cherry-pick the new songs, it should be separately anyway, since they are tracks 1 through 8 out of 19.
