Preview Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest
MySpace is streaming Grizzly Bear's new album, Veckatimest. I'm listening to first track "Southern Point" right now, which has a cinematic sweep to it. "Two Weeks" is more conventional. Both are quite lovely.
- Southern Point - Two Weeks - All We Ask - Fine For Now - Cheerleader - Ready, Able (didn't like this one at first, but I love the second half with the organ. Sound kind of Strawberry Fields Forever-esque to me) - I Live With You
I LOVE this album. Really grows on you.

I listened to most of it this morning, and I enjoyed it. I'll probably get it.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a grower, so you'll probably like it more in a couple listens. Also, I love that album art. Anyway, yeah, woot for this disc!
